nuclear energy as well. how are things coming into play? how quickly can they come into play for china? >> nuclear is the big ticket item. wind and solar help, but the big-ticket item takes a while to build. for gas you need gas. trying to get more gas into china, but that takes time. nuclear power, five years building, three years planning. 2020 we will see some major changes. new leadership. there are all these new policies coming into play, yet it looks like the problems are getting worse. why is there such a disconnect where the policy is in place but the problem is getting worse? >> that is a good question. in 2008.ly started it takes time to execute.

government. he is really not a match at this point. what markets were expecting is some sort of governance that will allow them to go ahead and invest money and kickstart the economy. gandhi does not seem to be the person who reports with these ine on any of creating an investment program. he comes across as someone who is tried and tested. coming from the new political force is a party that came out less than two weeks ago. it has come across after a series of protests on the road. seen whether be they are able to convert the promises they made into actual policies.

scene.me paint the january 13 at 9 a.m., that is when antigovernment protesters claimed they would paralyze government blocking offices. it is anyone's guess whether they will be successful, but they are in preparation mode. they are already marching to various points in the city. yesterday thousands of protesters made their way on the seventh on a route through bangkok, and they say they will not stop until the prime minister is removed from office. that is their key demand. they also want the february 2 election to be delayed, something the election committee said on friday will not happen. government making backup plans now. bangkok city government making contingency plans to avoid what could be a traffic nightmare and certainly the unknown, to avoid

seized. it is a complicated matter. democratic party, the antigovernment protesters, these are the ones who want to see changes. the so-called red shirts said they will take to the streets as well next week. you have got a situation where violence could take place. the government warns of road third-party groups. tonight is said to start moving military and tanks into the area. they claim it is for the parade on january 18, although critics say it is in preparation for a coup. >> thank you so much. myanmar's gradual reforms
